Madhya Pradesh grows the wheat that other states pay a premium for. Sharbati wheat from the Sehore, Vidisha and Ashta belt is sold by name, and people who grow or buy sharbati are precisely the people who refuse packet atta. That is a good market for a chakki, because the customer already believes the grain matters.
It also raises the bar on the machine. If someone is paying extra for sharbati, they will notice if the flour comes out hot and dull. Flour temperature is the difference between a stone chakki at low RPM and a high speed pulveriser. Diamond stone at correct clearance produces a cool, sweet flour, which is the whole point of grinding sharbati yourself.
Beyond wheat, MP shops grind a large volume of chana for besan, plus soybean in the Malwa region and some jowar. Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Ujjain are our main enquiry sources, and the 14 inch is the most common order. Bigger mandi-side operations take the 16 inch.

Not on a correctly set stone chakki. Heat is what dulls the taste of good wheat like sharbati. A pulveriser runs at high RPM and heats the flour, a stone chakki at low RPM does not. Do not force the feed rate and the flour will be warm at most.
The 14 inch at 35 to 40 kg per hour on a 3 HP single phase motor covers most city shops. If you are supplying to other retailers as well, look at the 16 inch on three phase.
Yes, in moderate batches. Soybean is oily so keep batches small and run the machine free for a minute after. If soybean is your main volume rather than an occasional load, tell us before ordering so we can advise on the setting.
