Mira Road, Bhayandar and Naigaon are about twenty minutes up the road from our Dahisar showroom, which makes this our easiest delivery area after Dahisar itself. Buyers here frequently come to the showroom, see the machine running, and have it delivered the same day or the next.
These are dense residential townships with a mixed population, and that shows in what gets ground. Wheat is the base, but there is steady demand for jowar and bajra, rice flour, besan, and mixed atta made to order. A shop that grinds in front of the customer does well here precisely because people are buying from supermarkets otherwise and do not trust the packet.
Shop space is small and most commercial connections are single phase, so the practical choice is a 12 inch at 20 to 25 kg per hour or a 14 inch at 35 to 40 kg per hour. The 14 inch is the better buy if you expect any queue at all, and it still runs on 3 HP single phase.
There are also a lot of home buyers in this area, particularly in the larger societies, where a 10 inch machine on 1.5 HP handles a family comfortably. If you are in a flat, mount it on a level surface and keep it away from a shared bedroom wall.
